Carla Catherwood
With three decades as a movement teacher, creator and facilitator, and 20 years building businesses as an entrepreneur Carla’s woven a unique path one step at a time. Her story starts with humble beginnings as a dance instructor in her local town that lead to become a professional dancer, teacher & choreographer travelling the seas with Celebrity Cruise Lines, teaching under Cirque Du Soleil & Reebok, making appearances in Film/Television, touring with recording artists, all while producing and creating her first series of live entertainment & cabaret shows by the early 2000’s. These very show’s are what ignited the entrepreneurial spirit and gave her the idea to create and hold a safe space for people to become more confident in their bodies and with themselves through dance, performance & affirmations. In 2010 Carla created the world’s first ever Heels Dance Syllabus and licensed it across North America by the name of Army Of Sass. In ten years, Army of Sass grew to over 40 locations across Canada and the US, home to thousands of members and a loyal following which helped sprout it into a collective 8 figure business. Evolution has always been held in her core truth and in 2020, when the world shifted, she knew it was time to release this body of work to explore new modalities and opportunities in alignment with her new direction. It was time to go deep, heal her own battle with burn out and create a clear path to teach others to build their own empires… burn out free of course! After becoming a certified life & executive coach and receiving a certificate in the foundations of the Vagus Nerve & Self Regulation, she was then led to create a unique & successful practice that takes both the concept of self regulation & executive coaching to not only help people reckon with where they are, but create the vision, boundaries, accountability and steps necessary to build a successful personal & professional life that can be harmonious and self regulated. She now helps entrepreneurs looking to organize & scale not only their businesses but their lives by creating a strategic simplified approach to running your business and life like a CEO. I help my clients & community transform chaos in their business and personal lives into clarity & alignment through the power of coaching, self regulation work, and consistent accountability. Currently I am living in Toronto, Canada with my family, facilitating 1 x 1 client work, online group coaching, executive work with corporations and organizations and yes, still teaching movement simply for the love of it! |
